How to abuse auction sites? It’s very easy actually.

If you have an affiliate link for any physical product, make an account at some auction sites, and put a catchy title, product description and throw in your affiliate link a couple of times.  Then setup the auction to run for as long as the site allows you.

Don’t think only eBay, there are many auction sites out there that you can abuse. Many are even free to list your products.

Check out their hotlists, what products people search for and throw up your auctions.

You can either set up a 1$ starting price and a high reserve, or you can put up the normal price of the product, and when someone wins, email them the affiliate link.

These auctions, depending on the product and the traffic of the auction site, will give you small amounts of clicks, like 100. But, those 100 visitors, are not just surfers. They are potential buyers, people browsing through the auctions looking for things to buy.

Those people, on buying mode, are worth many times more than random traffic.

The downside, is that those same buyers are looking for bargains. So, you need to offer a real bargain of a product, or promote those seasonal special offers. Or you can even lie on the auction “Get it now with a 20% discount”.

This is a good idea but if i recall correctly, sites like ebay do not allow links in their auction listings.

Yes, but there are hundreds of auction sites out there. This works, just try it.

Again another awesome post I’ve missed, could have sworn I’d read everything on here.

Re the comment up there about ebay and links, I’ve linked to Amazon loads of times for info on the product, “for more info check out this” and not once did I even think about putting in my affiliate link. I never got banned off ebay for doing it, just think it needs a bit of creativity.

Yes, this is very easy to do. For example one that I did, was to find a Greek auction site, a free one.

I found a collector’s edition sports t-shirt, and listed it as it was on the e-shop’s page. I just included 2 affiliate links back to the e-shop, and also made the pic a link. I set it up to run for 15 days, and set the reserve too high, and starting bid 1 euro.

Every 15 days, at least 100 people clicked on the aff link, and that was from a small auction site.

When the auction ended, I just reloaded the exact same auction page.

Nothing prevents you from having dozens of these offers running on auction sites at the same time.
