Stop rubbing your eyes, yes, you are actually reading some industry news on Glowleaf.net. Gosh, I’ve gone native…

It’s a shock, I know.

First off, the insanity on Twitter as a terrorist tool continues… I don’t really want to comment on that, I mean, WTF? As if they can’t send an SMS or use other internet communication means. IRC? Custom messaging platform? This is crazy.

Secondly, a nice opportunity for affiliate promotion is F-secure on Commission Junction. They compensate an amount in cpc, but please note that it applies after 10.000 clicks, and at a minimum of 100 sales. Not for newbies apparently, but a great opportunity nonetheless. Their landing page is sleek and professional, and it generally appears to be a converter.

Finally Jon announced the creation of an Affiliate Manager and Ad networks section on Wickedfire. The place is meant for people on the other side of the “affiliate world” fence, helping them network, sort out the fights and chit chat. A great idea, and hopefully next year, after I launch my affiliate program I will be allowed in. By the way, entry is by manual review, meaning you have to prove that you really are an AM or work or own an Affiliate Network. You can find the AM and ad networks forum here.
