These are the current (as in, taken today) stats of the site I made with this methodology. All the traffic is organic, as in from search engine or incoming links. The site ranks for many of the keywords.

I am certain most people took my post with the step by step guide humorously, but it is not. It is a real methodology, and it works. I am also certain people will say the stats are fake. I don’t care.

Read it again, and just fucking do it.

Thanks for the info. Just one small question….

The only form of monetization is bigfishgames ?

  2. Glowleaf Says:

You mean for my site, or the possible ones? For my site, yes, just bigfishgames. The possibilities are endless of course.

I know it does not seem like much, bigfishgames, duh, silly yea. But these guys are awesome marketers. As a matter of fact, I am going to do a post on what we can learn about marketing from them.

What does it mean by ‘game submission’?

  4. Glowleaf Says:

I submitted games to software directories, using Robosoft. It is all in these posts:

So you’re not submitting your whole site with Robosoft, just individual games? Can you just keep doing that with every game on BigFish?

  6. Glowleaf Says:

Short answer is yes, though it is practically impossible. These guys are crazy enough to dish out a new game every day. You can submit a bunch of them though, as many as you can handle.
I have already done a quick keyword research and weeded out the games, I am submitting a list of those who have traffic.
Yesterday’s traffic mark is 1440 by the way :)

Thanks. Couple more stupid questions: On your TNX campaigns, you’re linking to your main site, not individual game pages, right? And are you going for keywords you can easily rank for, as opposed to the most popular keywords?

  8. Glowleaf Says:

Yes, I link to my main site. As I mentioned, I got a 3-keyword domain that defines a niche directly, so it is logical to have the same anchor text. The niche is competitive, so the site is nowhere near ranking well. The TNX link campaign is more of a long term SEO tactic for the site.

Of course, nothing forbids you to do micromanagement, i.e. push internal pages with longtail keywords and rotate anchor texts and target pages etc. Actually the TNX link campaign is set up to do exactly that.

The TNX campaign is not the main feature of this methodology, it just pushes up for a small fee. It complements the whole strategy.

Thanks for all the info. I’m not the most techical guy in the world, so some of this Robosoft stuff is over my head. When filling out the info. for the PAD file, should you use your real information, or just make something up? I have pretty much no idea what the purpose of it is so I’m not sure if it’s important.

Also, just so I have this absolutely clear, you’re making a .exe out of one of your sites game pages (gamesite.com/game_0000_title.html), and doing the Robosoft thing, correct? You’re not downloading the actual game from the site and then running it through Robosoft, right?

    Sorry for being a noobtard.

  10. Glowleaf Says:

PAD is just the info file that tells where everything is, icons, links, etc. No, you dont need to make your sites page an exe, that is an alternate technique when you dont have software. Now that you do, you just submit the software.

Just try it, it takes some getting used to.
