I have discussed this concept in a previous post, but I want to re-examine it.

This is for all the people who really try to succeed in internet marketing, and for some reason, they do not see results.

This guide uses the most complete tools for this job. Administration of this technique is a breeze.

What you need:

• Adwords account, for access to Adwords keyword tool
• Parked.com account (for parking your domains obviously)
• Moniker account (domain registration and administration)
• Excel file for organizing your portfolio
• Paypal account for paying and receiving funds
• a small budget, 50-100$

That is all.  You can try other services, but those are the ones I recommend.

After you have setup all the accounts, you should start researching keywords. The adwords keyword tool is all you really need, since google has the most precise data than anyone else.

Start noting down keywords for high traffic searches, and use your adwords account to see the average bids for those terms. Do not be afraid to go for the high payout ones, you just need a keyword, not the single word domain.

As soon as you have a list of preferred keywords, put them in moniker’s mass domain registration and see what is available. I suggest you go for the .com if your budget permits it. Take .info if your available funds are small, and you want as many domains as possible.

Now, see what domains are already registered, and start changing the keyword, by putting plural (e.g. cars), or by adding numbers at the end (car101.com). Use up all your budget, and register them. Moniker allows you to get a discount if you buy prepaid funds, in increments of 50$. The discount will allow you to register one or two more cheap domains.

Use the bulk dns to change the dns settings to parked.com, they are:

ns1.parked.com

ns2.parked.com

Then go to your parked account, and add the domains to your portfolio.

That is all! The domains will start generating traffic and revenue, and you will get paid for every click directly at your paypal account.

The concept to doing this right, is to find high traffic keywords through research, get a domain that contains those keywords (e.g. cheap-domain-registration.com) and monetize on the traffic. You can use parked.com’s tools to optimize your parked page, by adding more keywords, excluding irrelevant or low paying ones.

A 100$ budget will let you register about 20 cheap domains. Your first goal, is to make those 20 domains, generate revenue of 9$ per month. That way, every month, you will be able register one more from the domains on your preferred list. As months pass, you will accumulate more traffic and more revenue. It is not difficult to get 50$-$200 in monthly revenues, with luck and correct research. In the course of 6 months, you will gain the experience to register domains that work, and discover more opportunities. Your portfolio will become larger and larger, and the accumulated revenue will allow you to buy domains with high traffic from places like moniker marketplace or other domain selling places.

If you can afford it, you can speed up the process by investing a small amount of money on top of revenues each month, registering a few more domains. Have in mind the large cost in updating the registration of the domains after a year. Save some for that time.

To sum up, you just need a small capital to invest, some research to take good traffic domains, a way to generate recurring revenue, and to reinvest that revenue in more small investments. Rinse and repeat.

Tricks:

• A good way to get high traffic domains is by finding misstypes of known domains. Go to alexa, and see the top 100 domains by country. Note all the ones that are not trademarks, there are so many of them. See what you can grab.
• As soon as you have some stats from your parked domains, try to optimize them using the tools parked.com gives you. Switch keywords, templates, colors and see what works and what not. A simple keyword change can increase your revenue tenfold.
• A cheap and dirty way to register, is to find a simple, one high traffic keyword, and get a large number of variations in .info with a number attached to it (poker1.info, poker2.info, poker3.info etc)
• Parked.com gives you two more options. One is to set up an alternate link to redirect visitors in the rare case that they cannot find anything relevant in their feed. Try adultfriendfinder or pkr. The second, is to have all your domains show that they are available for sale. With a portfolio large enough, it is almost certain that buyers will show up at some point. If their offer is good, sell it.
